calendar produced by Auckland Badminton is now out. Hard

Find it frustrating trying to find
all the junior events for the year among all the huge number of
events put on each year. Well now you can check them all
out in one simple table. Results and
photos where possible will also be added as they come in..Click

REPRESENTATIVE
PROGRAMME
Each
year in March the Junior Clubs nominate players to trial for
Auckland teams. To be eligible a player must represent
their club in either Junior or Senior Interclub competition
unless exempt as a member of the National Reserve Squad.
These
teams compete at the North Island Champs, and those placed in
the top 3 go on to compete at the NZ Teams Championships.
14s
and 16s players also have the opportunity to compete in the
Northern Region Derby. These matches are played at venues
throughout the Northern Region on selected Sundays. Final playoffs are held in September.

Congratulations to Jason Leung (Ak) and Evan Lee from (North
Harbour) won the June Bevan boys doubles title at the
Australasian U17s tournament. Asher
Richardson from Canterbury won the boys singles title.
Runners up included Victoria Cheng (Ak) and Melissa Yin (NH)
(Girls Doubles), Riga Oud (Ak) and Asher Richardson Boys
