There were some amazing finals at the Oceania
Individual Championships. Five Aucklanders were involved in
the finals representing NZ click on photo for their profiles.

Flavell
 Donna Cranston &
 Nathan
Hannam with 3 of them winning titles.
In
the mens singles John Moody bt Stuart Gomez 21-12, 21-16.
The
womens singles was an exceptionally close nail biter with Michelle
Chan - currently ranked No.2 in NZ - facing Rachel Hindley (NZ)
ranked No.1. The Auckland girl came out on top in an
exceptionally close match - Michelle winning 26-24, 22-20 (woah
can't get much closer than that in 2
sets!).
It
was the Aussies turn in the mens doubles with Glenn Warfe and Ross
Smith beating Henry Tam and Nathan Hannam 21-13, 21-18. Michelle and Rachel then bt Donna Cranston and Renee Flavell
21-14, 21-8 in the all NZ womens doubles.
In
the mixed 3/4 seed Henry Tam and Donna Cranston bt top seeds
Craig Cooper and Renee Flavell 16-21,21-19,21-17 (a tuff 3 set
