The News Desk

Thought for the Month:

The Magic is in the Middle.

It is good to pursue dreams and fight for it.  In fact that drive is an innate part of what makes us human.  However it is easy to get caught up pursuing the dream at the expense of enjoying the little things on the way. Having passion without purpose, ambition without love can lead to victories that are very hollow.

True success and satisfaction comes from hard work and taking pride in what we do no matter how big or small.   But life's magic comes from the little things in the middle.  It's easy to forget to read between the lines of success - to look for the little things which makes life special - a sunset, walk in the park chat with a friend.  It is easy to ignore them, until we realise too late, that they are more important than we thought.

Club Web Profiles - I'm keen to put club profiles up on the site - just as we do with players - all I need is some information from the club committees on fees for the year and visitors, special discounts etc and a photo (although I can come out and take one if you like).  As and when we get the information we'll put brand new profiles up so that people can contact you directly.  There will also be search options so people can search via area, type of club etc.
