There
will be two ladders this year – one for singles and one for
doubles. The intention of the ladder is to encourage friendly matches
among club members and the results will not count for the Grading
List. You need to put your name onto the relevant Ladder List and
the initial ladder will be set up based on the grading list. You will
then be able to challenge up to 3 places above you. Matches will be
the best of 5 games (i.e. first to 3).
If the winner is the higher placed person (pair), there is no change
to the ladder. If the winner is the lower placed person (pair), the
lower placed person (pair) moves up to the higher placed person’s
(pair’s) position and the higher placed person (pair) and all
others between the higher and lower placed persons (pairs) move down
ONE rung. |
